Firstly I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved in running the show, as well as a special thank you for the invitation to judge this year’s specialty. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and was very impressed with the quality and presentation of exhibits on the day.

 

Baby Dog

1^st #2 AMBERMOON YABBA DABBA DOO

3 month old sable puppy who looked like he had very much done it all before. He was a good size for his age, very sweet expression with well placed ears which he used well, lovely eye and good fill of muzzle. Good angulation front and rear, covered the ground very well for his age.

 

2^nd #1 AMBERMOON BLUE SUEDE SHOES

3 month old blue merle puppy who was not quite as confident as the 1st place on the move today. A very pretty expression well placed eyes and ears, with balanced front and rear angulation. He had a bit of a happy tail today on the move which took from his outline.

 

Minor Dog

1^st #3 AMBERMOON A CLASSIC

7 month old sable boy who has a lovely flow throughout. Well placed lovely dark almond shaped eyes, correct wedge shaped head with well placed ears that he used very well creating a very sweet expression. Great length of neck which flowed in to well placed shoulders, combined with good rear angulation he had a lovely side gait although looked a little high in bum on the move today. Still needs to develop in body and chest, but I look forward to seeing this boy as he matures.

 

Junior Dog

1^st #4 SHELTAIRE SUMMER DREAMTIME

14month old boy, up on size and a little longer in body than I would like to see. A pleasing eye and well placed ears, he was a little broader in skull but still had a handsome expression. Good length of neck, which flowed into a level 1 top line, good sweep over his croup and well placed tail. Balanced front and rear angulation, he used this very well on the move with a lovely side gate.

 

Inter Dog 

1^st #5 AUST CH GLENMIRA DIAMOND CHASER

2 and a 1/2 year old sable male in excellent coat and condition, he had well placed and shaped eyes, good fill of muzzle with neatly placed small ears which created a very pleasing sweet expression. A clean outline and shape, he had good length of neck which flowed into well placed shoulders, level top line and a nice sloping croup, with a well set tail that could be slightly longer. Good rear angulation with nice short hocks. He was very clean coming and going on the move with a lovely side gait that covered the ground effortlessly. He was a real showman and a gorgeous temperament, demanded your attention from the start. I was very pleased to award him DCC and RUIS.

 

State bred Dog

1^st #6 CH ARAJENTO OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS

5 year old tri colour male, in excellent coat and condition. A very lovely black coat that was presented in perfect condition. Nice head qualities with well placed ears that he used very well on the day. Moderate front angulation, would of liked a little more depth of chest. Lovely flow from neck into a level top line and nicely sloping croup. Well set tail of good length and good rear angulation, with nice short hocks. Good side gait.

 

Aust Bred Dog

1^st #8 CH WHOAMI PLAYING TO WIN

2 1/2 year old shaded sable male of good breed type. Lovely sweet expression, dark almond eyes, good fill of muzzle and well placed ears that he used just enough today. Pleasing outline on the stack and the move, good body proportions and balance throughout. Very clean coming and going with good reach and drive on the side gait.

 

2^nd #7 CH ARAJENTO ALL TUCKED UP IN BED

2 year old tri colour, very appealing on the stack, clean outline, good length of neck that flowed to a level top line and nice sweep over the croup. Pleasing head qualities with a handsome expression. On the move today he 2 seemed to be toeing in coming towards, and moving close in the rear. Side gait was a little unbalanced.

 

Baby Bitch

1^st #12 AMBERMOON TASTE OF THE RAINBOW (AI)

3 month old blue merle, beautiful crystal blue and correct black marbling. Super feminine expression, correct head planes, eye and stop placement creating a very sweet expression, good angulation fore and after, well set tail of correct length. Moved very well for her age. A very promising baby!

 

2^nd #11 AMBERMOON ON A SUGAR RUSH (AI)

3 month old tri colour, A little stronger in head than 1st place today, good angulation fore and after, moved well and showed good balance throughout.

 

3^rd #10 AMBERMOON IM HERE FOR TH PARTY

3 month old sable and white puppy. She has a big coat to grow in to. Very sweet expression although could have slightly more fill under the eyes. Good body, with lots of potential, just not as confident on the move today.

 

4^th #9 SHOKASE SHE SEES U MIRING

5 month old darker sable girl. A smaller build on this girl, very sweet face, well placed ears with good tip. I would like to see a slightly longer upper arm so she was a little more balanced on the move. Level top line, lovely sweeping croup with a well set tail of good length.

 

Minor Bitch

1^st #14 NIGHTWOOD THE QUEENS GAMBIT

8 month old girl with a glorious rich red coat. Quite mature for age, she flowed well from her head in to a lovely arch of the neck, level top line in to a slightly sloping croup with well set tail. Correct head planes, well placed eyes of almond shape and dark in colour. She had well placed ears which combined with a good attitude created a lovely sweet expression. Well angulated front and rear, very clean coming and going, balanced side gait.

 

Puppy Bitch

1^st #15 IFONLY LUCKY CHARM AT ARAJENTO

9 month old sable, very pretty expression, good eye shape and colour, good ear set and use of ears, could of had slightly more under jaw. Balanced front and rear, good tail set and length. Moved well on side gait and clean coming and going.

 

Junior Bitch

1^st #16 SHELTAIRE SUMMER DAYDREAMZ

14 month old sable, sweet expression, neat ears, almond eyes, good front angulation but would of liked slightly more turn of stifle to balance her out. Lovely sweep over the croup into tail set. Tail was of good length and carried well. Clean coming and going. Well presented.

 

Inter Bitch 

1^st #17 SUNLAND SANTAS LIL HELPER

Almost 2 year old, lovely sable girl in very good condition. This girl took my eye from the moment she entered the ring. Beautiful feminine expression, lovely head plains, correct almond shaped eye, well placed stop and high set neat little ears that just finished the picture. Lovely shape on the stack, everything just flowed from her well arched neck, well placed shoulders, level top line, lovely sweep over the croup and short little hocks. Well set tail that was carried perfectly. Balanced front and rear angulation, she moved with ease covering the maximum amount of ground with minimum effort. This girl gave her all on the day, showing very well even when giving attitude to her handler. She was gorgeous, very pleased to award her BIS today.

 

2^nd #18 CH NIGHTWOOD NO MORE FUN N GAMES

2 and a 1/2 year old shaded sable of excellent type. Well coated and in good condition. Very pleasing expression with great head qualities well set ears, which she used very well. Nice body shape, a little more compact that 1st place, good reach of neck and good angulation front and rear. Very clean coming and going, balanced side gait. This class was 2 girls full of qualities.

 

State Bred Bitch

1^st #20 SUNLAND SUMMER WIND

4 1/2 year old sable, gorgeous coat in good condition. A little heavy today but that did not distract from her overall qualities. Pretty head shape, eyes could be slightly more almond to complete the picture. Good angulation front and rear, lovely arched neck, level top line, nice sweep over the croup with a well set tail. Moved very well coming and going with an effortless side gait.

 

2^nd #19 ARAJENTO MOONBEAMS N STARDUST

2 year old sable bitch, smaller girl but a really pretty type. Pleasing head although could have slightly more fill under the eye to finish the picture. Well presented in good coat. Had a bit of a rise over the loin, which showed on the stack and move which disrupted her outline.

 

Aust Bred Bitch

1^st #21 AUST CH AMBERMOON AND JUST LIKE THAT

3 1/2 year old sable girl, on the taller side but a very glamorous girl. Glorious sable coat in excellent condition. Well angulated and balanced, very pleasing head and expression. Good eyes and ears that created a very sweet expression. Correct tail set although tail could be slightly longer. Very clean coming and going, lovely on the move around the ring.

 

Open Bitch

1^st #23 AUST CH GLENMIRA DIAMOND KEEPSAKE

Almost 6 year old bitch, very feminine, pretty sable in good coat and condition. Lovely outline on the stack, pleasing head qualities although a little round in eye. Good body proportions. Would like to of seen her slightly more balanced on the move. Nice sweep over croup, with excellent tail set.

 

Neuter Bitch

1^st #24 WHOAMI THIS IS ME

6 1/2 year old shaded girl, still growing her coat in but showed a lovely shape. Good body proportions, moderately angled but balanced front and rear. Pleasing head shape although could have slightly more fill in muzzle and under jaw. Clean coming and going, with a balanced side gait.
